About Guillaume Fontaine
Guillaume Fontaine is a multidisciplinary circus artist. He discovered slacklining in 2015 and fell in love with this beautiful feeling of walking above the void. Very quickly, through practice and a great will, he acquires an excellent level in this discipline which requires concentration, perseverance and self-discovery.
In 2018, he broke the Guinness World Record longest slackline traversed without falling. After a summer spent in high acrobatics in his first circus experience at the Cirque de la Pointe-Sèche, he decides to continue and deepen his practice. He completed his training at the École de cirque de Québec, where he discovered new skills in dance, clowning, acrobatics and juggling. Lover of challenges, he also participates in the television competition "Talents Bleus" at «la semaine des 4 Julie», where he reached the semi-final. Guillaume likes to transmit his pleasure of movement as well as his joy of being alive through circus arts.
